My only post on this blog was a single entry marking my completion of my first Full Marathon…
On Feb. 6, I will do my third marathon, and second Condura 42k…
How will I fare? I don’t know. The training has been on-and-off, and I don’t think I can do much about my running fitness in the next few days to improve my chances of getting that finish time I desire….

MY FIRST FULL MARATHON
After six months of training, I finally finished my first Full Marathon at Condura with a 4:56:++ time.,…. the 3:1 RunWalk plan worked!…..I sprinted like a madman to the finish, shouting in joy, with no injuries, and a wiiiiiide grin on my face…

-Takbo.ph / Rainier Pacific Aid Station…YOU ARE THE BEST! Massage, linimint, bananas, band….wala ako masabi…you saved us!
– Dr. Jun “Tarayem” Kagaoan for pacing me at the last 2.5k to hit a sub-5hr virgin run….I owe you rounds of beer, lakay! Hope I could return the favor soon…
-my friend Jeff Galloway (talaga naman…) for the RunWalk strategy…will try 6:1 next time for a sub 4:30????
-all the races I joined as part of my training: Milo 5k (Aug 16); Baguio Centennial 10k (Aug30); Ayala Ecodash 10k (Sept13); NIKE+ 10k (Oct. 24); SMART Subic 21k (Oct. 25); Timex 21k (Nov 15); New Balance 21k (semi bandit :-)) (Nov. 29), and BDM 50k Test Run (Jan 23).
-my wife and kids whom I missed each time I went away for these races…I hope to bring you to one of these soon..
